Welcome to Growing Musical Minds
Whether you are just beginning your musical journey, returning after time away, or looking for a more meaningful learning experience, let’s start growing your musical mind today.
Hello, I’m Lesley Jackson. For over 30 years, it has been my joy to teach music to students of all ages, both in the classroom and through private lessons. I hold a degree in Piano Performance and have taught students both in a variety of settings, including schools, churches, and private studios.
Over time, my teaching has naturally evolved toward working most effectively with motivated, thoughtful students who are ready to engage in a steady, meaningful learning process.
I especially enjoy working with adult beginners, returning musicians, and motivated middle school and older students.
I believe musical growth should be both engaging and deeply rewarding–not rushed or pressured, but unfolding over time through consistency, curiosity, and care.
I also enjoy introducing younger children to music through gentle, play-base group experiences that focus on rhythm, listening, an exploration in a relaxed, supportive setting.
If this feels like the kind of learning environment you’re looking for, I’d love to hear from you.
When you’re ready, let’s begin
