Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child need prior musical experience?

Not at all! This class is designed for beginners.

Does a parent stay during class?

Parents or caregivers are encouraged to remain with their child during the first session to two as children become comfortable with the class environment and routines.

Once children are comfortable, parents are welcome to remain in the classroom or wait in a nearby room until class is dismissed.

What should my child bring?

Just comfortable clothes for movement and a willingness to participate!

What if my child is shy and needs time to adjust?

That’s completely okay! Children are encouraged to participate at their own comfort level, and parents are welcome to remain nearby as children settle into the class environment.

What happens if we miss a class?

No worries—we understand that summer schedules can be busy! Because this is a short pilot session with limited enrollment, makeup classes are not available, but we’ll look forward to making music together the following week.

How many children are in each class?

Classes are intentionally kept very small…no more than six children per class. This allows for a more warm, comfortable, and engaging atmosphere, with more time for individual attention.
